Precision Rifle 1 (ammo and rental guns available)

Duration:     8 hrs                                                                         Cost: $175

Introduction:  This course is designed to give the shooter all the tools necessary to operate your precision rifle effectively in many shooting positions. Here we master the fundamentals of rifle/optic set-up, requirements for an accurate shot, building your shooting position, internal and external ballistics, ranging, wind, and more.  In this class, we will be shooting out to 100 yards.  We use a building-block approach and the day culminates in some friendly competition.

THIS IS AN INTRODUCTORY CLASS.  Safety FIRST.  We will go over the 4 primary safety rules in class.  The student must have a suitable rifle (bolt action or AR style) and suitable prismatic optic (3-9, 5-20, etc.).  No red dots.

We will start in classroom.  Students will start the day unloaded. Bring guns to the firing line in bags/holster. No magazines inserted, bolt removed/bolt locked open.
